Bring on the tropical vibes with this heart shaped beauty. If you’re worried about not having a green thumb, don’t be. She’s extremely forgiving and doesn’t require a lot of upkeep, plus she’ll help keep your air clean. The best friendship you could ask for. 

Light: Low to bright indirect sunlight is great although she is partial to a brighter room. Don’t put her directly in front of a window. It could damage her leaves.

Water: She’s low maintenance. It’s okay if you forget every now and then, just don’t make a habit of it. It’s best if you wait for her soil to dry before watering again. When you do water, make sure you give her a moderate amount. If there’s any water that hasn’t soaked in after 30 minutes make sure to drain it out. P.S. She doesn’t mind a good misting every few days so find yourself a cute plant mister!

Toxicity: She is mildly toxic to humans and pets if consumed. We know she’s a snack but not the type you eat. 

Repotting Needs: Once every two years is perfect. Be sure to use a peat based potting soil that’s mixed with perlite. Hey, if you really want to be tropical you could swap out the perlite for sand.
